LEAD STEREOSCOPIC VFX COMPOSITOR WANTED

Our boutique VFX and Post house located in Burbank, CA is seeking a lead VFX Compositor with stereoscopic experience. We are looking for a candidate to work with us for a short term feature film project (2-3 months). This could lead to a permanent position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determines the best tools, techniques, and work flow for shots and communicates this to the artists on staff.

- Leads stereoscopic reviews with clients and communicate creative notes and technical direction on all VFX shots to artists.

- Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process: roto, matte extraction, layering of elements, color correction, 2D and 3D tracking, etc.

- As we are a small business excellent organizational, technical problem solving and communication skills is a must and your ability to be flexible in order to meet deadlines will be required.

REQUIREMENTS:
-At least 3+ years working as VFX artist with extensive working knowledge/experience using After Effects and and Nuke.

-At least 1+ years working on stereoscopic features with demonstrable experience working in a stereoscopic vfx pipelines

-Strong and clear communication and management skills – both written and verbal.

-A proven sense of both artistic and technical abilities.

-Ability to work on flexi-time to meet deadlines and when technical issues arise.
